The purpose of this call is to receive presentations oriented to the advancement and development of gender equality in science, technology and innovation, which will be presented during the event to be held on December 6 and 7, 2017 in Santiago, Chile.

The National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research, CONICYT, organizer of the Gender Summit 12 on Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) for Latin America and the Caribbean, announces the opening of its call for proposals for presentations on gender equality in STI.

The invitation is aimed at researchers, members of academia, civil society and public sector representatives who may submit presentations reflecting on the challenges and benefits of gender equality in STI; on the gender dimension in scientific research and knowledge; and on how STI contributes to sustainable development.

The deadline for submitting proposals for presentations is Monday, September 25, 2017, at 11:59 PM, and it must be done according to the requirements stipulated in the rules.
