 PhD in Educational Culture, Politics and Society of the State University of New York – Buffalo. She is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her approach has been educational research and the construction of knowledge in academia within the framework of internationalization policies. Currently, she leads a project on research policies in higher education and another on internationalization, knowledge and gender in the academy, both funded by CONICYT. Dr. Muñoz García is also working on a project on indigenous first generation students at the University funded by Fulbright. Finally, she serves as Vice-President of the Chilean Network of Research in Chilean Education (RIECH).
