Economist from the Competitiveness, Technology and Innovation Division of the Inter-American Development Bank and affiliated researcher at UNU-MERIT (United Nations University – Maastricht University) in the Netherlands, where she obtained her Doctorate in Economics and Innovation Policy. Her research interests include the economy of innovation, entrepreneurship and public policies linked to these issues. Prior to her doctoral studies, she led the Innovation area at the Center for Research in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, INTELIS, of the Department of Economics of the University of Chile. Previously, she was part of the Executive Secretariat of the National Council for Innovation for Development and the Innovation Division of the Ministry of Economy in Chile. Jocelyn has a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Chile and is a Commercial Engineer from the same university.
