Sociologist from the State University of Londrina, Paraná, Brazil; Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of São Paulo and Doctorate in Education from the Catholic University of São Paulo. She started her training as a researcher at the Carlos Chagas Foundation in 1995, and coordinates since 2009 the Department of Educational Research (DPE). She has experience in the area of Sociology, with emphasis on the problem of gender inequalities in education, acting mainly in education policies, equity and diversity, human rights and affirmative actions.
