Commercial Engineer and Master in Economics from the University of Chile; PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. She is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics of the Universidad de Chile and an associate researcher at the Center for Conflict Studies and Social Cohesion (COES). Her areas of specialization are empirical microeconomics, with an emphasis on the economics of education, and applied econometrics. Her research areas include the effect of teachers on the performance of students and the educational gender gap.
